Cantar X-2 is a portable digital audio recorder with a hard disk with a 80 to 120 GB capacity, along with five mic inputs, four line inputs, an AES / EBU interface with six digital inputs. Widely used during film-shootings, Cantar quickly earned a great reputation among its operators.
